There are soooo many damn MLM compensation plan, it’s actually pretty recockculous.
There’s the uni-level matrix plan, the forced matrix plan, the binary plan, the upside pyramid plan, the yo-mama plan, it’s all a bit overwhelming if you ask me.
Which one do you care about?
How about starting with a plan that actually PAYS you money. I may sound sarcastic (and I usually am) but there’s some truth to this.
See, what way too many MLM companies tend to do is they throw out some convoluted MLM comp plan in your face, do some crazy magic and with a wave of a hand, they got you convinced this is the OMG-WTF-BBQ ultimate best compensation plan ever.
Sneaky Bastards…
Their trick is to have you focus on how much money you can POTENTIALLY make that you neglect what it takes to MAKE that much money.
“Listen here Timmy, you like big houses? How about a house that’s worth $2 million dollars? How about getting one every single month? No problem, we got the perfect MLM compensation plan for you. It’s very simple Timmy, see, you only need to get 2 top leaders and they each get top 2 leaders who also get 2 who also get 2.
“Then you qualify for the forced-customer-appreciation-bonus by having half your leaders each with 23 clients doing over 290 BV per client.
“Then you take into account the inverted triangle monthly bonus AND… because you have so many top clients yourself, the fast-track-I-am-da-man matrix, you can multiple your pay by 113.76%.
“You do this for six consecutive months and guess what? You just hit $2 million dollar a month salary. Hallelujah! Say hello to your $2 million dollar home and goodbye to your job.
“So what do you say Timmy? All you need is to get 2 top leaders and you are well on your way to $2 million a month within six month!”
Yeah, just like that. And by then you have dollar signs just dancing around your head as you get mesmerized by all those numbers. You think to yourself, “2 leaders? NOOOO problem…”
SIKE.
When deciding on whether a MLM compensation plan, simply ask yourself this, “How much can I get paid and with how much effort?” (Along with getting all the mlm info you need of course.)
Forget about them trying to bribe you into looking at exclusively the POSSIBILITY of residual income. You want to get paid NOW for your efforts AND LATER for your efforts as well. You want the best of the both worlds and don’t ever let them convince you of otherwise.
So there you go, which network marketing comp plan is best for you?
The one that pays now AND that pays later – and that pays fairly all throughout. Get it?
You really found a way to make this whole process eaiser.
Steallr work there everyone. I’ll keep on reading.
Well said about the comp plans. How about me you 6 4 2? Or 10-10-10? I never could figure out why paying 30% more for a product was the prudent thing to do-and this was the wholesale price. I heard the party line that we were getting 6% back!
I think a lot of comp plans are nothing more than smoke and mirrors.

Hey Ray,
I think I met that guy you were quoting above. Didn’t his company just get sued?
I once got invited to dinner with a couple at their home that turned out to be an hour long infomercial. Everything in the house (which all got displayed to me) came from that company.
I’d rather pick my own deodorant and stock up on something of value.
Imperisvse brain power at work! Great answer!
