Usage of Amway/Quixtar’s Name
No… not really. Amway doesn’t really allow the public to leverage its name, Amway, or Quixtar. At least not online.

The Risk Factor
Amway has been around for decades. It is one of the oldest network marketing companies in existence today and shows no sign of going away any time soon given its track record, history, and financial backing.
However, support for Amway within the USA has dwindled over the past few years as the company has focused a lot more on overseas opportunities – where Amway represents a true opportunity and not a tired ol’ B.S. scheme.

Products
They are for the most part good quality products (which is why they do so well in overseas where the quality control sucks – i.e. China). However, they are RIDICULOUSLY over priced (add to that the cost of shipping… FORGET about it)

Compensation Plan
Heh… the compensation plan works okay, if you are on top. Seriously, it’s so hard to make a buck in this company it’s not even funny. You get paid nickels on the products you sell (despite the high cost). You get paid pitifully on the compensation plan itself.
Hard to make any money.

How’s the Training?
Okay, if there is one good thing about Amway, it’s their personal development training (actually, I should credit that to World Wide Dream Builders – WWDB, which is a… branch of Amway that’s not directly related to Amway but which Amway supports).
They offer some superb mindset/personal development training. I actually owe a lot of who I am today to the training I underwent while attempting to build my Amway business.

Marketing
Hahahahahaaa… WHAT marketing? This is what almost got me kicked out of Amway in the first place. They threatened to kick me out when they caught me marketing online. Yep, silly me for trying to bring them more business.
I suppose I understand… their stance is they want “”non-competition”" amongst their distributors and if I dominate the online aspect of things, I am “”stealing”" potential business from other IBOs. Whatever. So they only allow for the 3-foot rule, cold calling, and other traditional non-leveraged forms of prospecting and building the business.

Personal Experience
I had a decent team. Good company. Good belief system. The people in it for the most part are decent folks – misguided but decent.
Again, I recognize that I’ve learned a lot from trying to work this business but at the end of the day, I can’t recommend anybody looking to make money to join this company.
Although… I do think most can benefit from the training/education from a personal development stand point of view.
