Conklin as most MM’s have their rules, but theirs are simple to follow and not too stringent. As long as you stay within their guidelines as far as trademark names you’ll be fine with any type of marketing campaign you choose. They are a little behind the times as far as online marketing is concerned, but are willing to listen from any help from the field on ideas.

Risk Factor Associated with Conklin

Conklin is not a big company by no means, but has a good balance of leadership. It has been in business for 41 years now. Conklin is unique in that it manufactures most all of it’s products in house and everything they own is paid for. Charles and Judy Herbster the owners are of the company of 13 years are a solid family with strong christian values that come out throughout the company policies and day to day operations. They both come up through the ranks starting as distributors like everyone else would have to. Charles set a goal early on in his Conklin career that he would someday like to own the company.

Conklin Products

If Conklin has a draw back it is that it has to many products. For a new distributor coming in it can be overwhelming at first. The company has 6 major product lines with over a 125 products in all. Product lines cover a wide range of areas for lubrication to animal products. Any product that is measurable they have world records in. They have always strived to be the best of the best.

The company has several large ticket items that draw good commissions. Most all of the products have strong niche markets which make them easy to market.

Products are priced to be very competitive.

Conklin Comp Plan

Compensation plan is good all the way through the system with no limits on width or depth. Plan is set up so you can start making money the first day even before you become commission active. These are paid out weekly. They reward you well for recruiting in extra bonus’s. The plan is set up to keep up line working and training in the field to move forward.

Training Provided

Training on the corporate level as in the field is very good. Cross line help and training is good and is promoted by corporate, which isn’t found in a lot of other company’s. The training’s are full of substance from marketing standpoint to product training. Every promotion step you take has training associated with it to help you get to the next step.

Types of Marketing

Very open to any type of marketing as long as you stay in their simple guidelines. They are playing catch up as far as online, but are open to set down with you and listen to ideas that will help you as well as their company.

Personal Experience

“Having been with Conklin for 8 years now the experience has been all good.

The checks are always on time and what they should be. The larger ticket items make it easier to make money faster I’ve found. In a average MLM having one or two small products you normally collect around $1.00 / month per distributor in your downline on commissions. That’s why most people drop out because it takes a lot of people under you to make any real money. Conklin’s average is around $11.00 / month per distributor in you downline and that makes a hugh difference.
